Ning Zhou

Ning Zhou possesses extensive experience in applied science and artificial intelligence, with a strong focus on computer vision and machine learning. At Amazon, from October 2017 to August 2021, Ning Zhou served as a Senior Manager, contributing to projects involving CV & ML for Ring/Blink cameras and sponsored product ads, and later led edge CVML efforts in the Device AI organization, where responsibilities included visual sensor selection and perception algorithms for Amazon Astro. Prior to Amazon, Ning Zhou worked at Microsoft as a Senior Applied Scientist in the AI and Research Group from April 2016 to October 2017, and held positions at GE Global Research as a Research Scientist in the Computer Vision Lab and with NEC Laboratories America as a Research Intern focusing on object recognition and 3D computer vision. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an M.S. in Computer Science from Fudan University.
