Saeedeh Salimianrizi

Saeedeh Salimianrizi is a Lead Machine Learning Scientist at Amazon Ads, with experience in developing machine learning models that enhance user experience and optimize service efficiency, notably improving streaming for Amazon Prime Video. Prior to joining Amazon in July 2018, Saeedeh worked as a Data Scientist at Farmers Insurance, applying unsupervised learning for fraud detection and significantly improving financial loss prediction models. Earlier roles include Data Analyst at Verisk Analytics, Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Boston University, and Application Engineer at Simaran. Saeedeh holds a PhD in Systems Engineering from Boston University, a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
