Sahil Goel currently serves as a Committee Member for Theta Tau since October 2022, where responsibilities include organizing professional networking opportunities for over 60 engineers and planning community service events. Previously, Sahil worked as a Machine Learning Research Intern at Emory University from June 2021 to September 2021, implementing a neural network for image recognition to classify dance styles and publishing a related research paper. In the role of Game Development Research Intern at Carnegie Mellon University from June 2020 to September 2020, Sahil independently developed and published a 3D platformer video game titled Neon Surge. Sahil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and is a graduate of Monta Vista High School.
