Serdar Cellat

Serdar Cellat is an experienced Applied Science Manager specializing in Artificial General Intelligence at Amazon since August 2022, leading a team focused on multimodal information retrieval. Previously, Serdar served as the Founding and Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Y Meadows Inc., developing AI products for customer service automation. Additionally, Serdar has held roles as an Applied Machine Learning Instructor at MIT, Team Lead and Senior NLP Data Scientist at Liberty Mutual Insurance, and Data Science Instructor at the University of Texas at Austin. Serdar holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics/Machine Learning and a Graduate Minor in Statistics from Florida State University.
