Zhen Wen

Zhen Wen is an accomplished professional in the field of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as the Head of Search, Relevance, and Promotion Sciences at Amazon Prime Video since September 2022. Prior to this role, Zhen held the position of Director of AI at Tencent, where efforts were focused on content/user understanding and recommendation systems for platforms like QQ Kandian and QQ browser. Zhen's experience also includes serving as Chief Scientist at Zhaopin.com, advancing AI applications for career opportunities, and leading data science initiatives at Alibaba Cloud and Google. Zhen's early career involved extensive research at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, where project management and lead analytics roles resulted in numerous publications, and at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, culminating in a PhD in Computer Science. Academic qualifications also include an MSc from the same institution and a B.S. from Tsinghua University.
