George Qie

George Qie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. George is currently working as the China VP of Marketing and BD at Ambarella Inc since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the President, APAC and CMO at Oculii Corporation from May 2017 to November 2021. George also has experience as an angel investor from October 2014 to April 2017. Before that, they held various positions at AutoNavi, Navteq(Here), Nav2 (a joint venture between Navteq(Here) and China Navinfo), Motorola, Mtone Wireless, and the Ministry of Public Security.

George Qie studied at Jilin University from 1982 to 1986, earning a Bachelor's degree in Wireless Telecom. George then pursued a Master's degree in Telecom at Harbin Institute of Technology from 1986 to 1989.
