Katie Mitchell is a seasoned creative learning professional with extensive experience in community engagement and arts production. Currently serving as the Creative Learning Producer at Edinburgh Playhouse since September 2023, Katie is focused on establishing a new engagement program that emphasizes workforce and talent development alongside collaborative projects with major commercial theatre producers. Previously, as Outreach Producer at Perth Theatre and Concert Hall from January 2020 to September 2023, Katie produced award-winning multi-arts projects for local communities and schools. Katie's background includes roles at the Federation of Scottish Theatre, Royal Lyceum Theatre, and Macrobert Arts Centre, showcasing a strong commitment to creative learning and community involvement. Academic credentials include a BA (Hons) in Drama and Performance from Queen Margaret University.
