Felipe Gusmão Contratres

Felipe Gusmão Contratres is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Data & AI/Gen AI Director at AmBev since February 2023. In this role, Felipe manages the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence as well as Data & AI Governance for the South America Zone. Notable achievements in 2023 include defining and implementing a blueprint for a scalable data organization, establishing an agility framework, developing a technical assessment framework, and redefining the Data & Analytics career path. Prior to AmBev, Felipe held multiple leadership roles at Magalu from February 2014 to January 2023, including Data Science and Engineering Manager, where oversight included Analytics Engineering and Machine Learning Engineering. Felipe's early career includes positions at Intrasis Desenvolvimento de Sistemas and Magazine Luiza, complemented by a BSc in Applied and Computational Math from USP and a Técnico em Informática from ETEC Parque da Juventude.
