Sambasevam Shanmugam

Sambasevam Shanmugam has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and development. Sambasevam is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Ambient.ai since January 2022. Prior to that, they spent over four years at Apple as a Sr. Software Engineer (Developer) from October 2017 to January 2022. Sambasevam also worked at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer (Developer) from September 2011 to June 2015. Sambasevam gained valuable experience as a Power Management Team intern at Intel from March 2010 to December 2010. Before that, they worked as a WNCG Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2009 to April 2010. Sambasevam also worked as a Mixed Signal Applications Intern at Cirrus Logic from January 2009 to August 2009, and as a Software Product Tester at TEAC Tascam in June 2007.

Sambasevam Shanmugam attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2012, they briefly enrolled in Stanford University to complete an Operating Systems course (Non-Degree Option) in the field of Computer Science.
