Kimmo Vuori

Kimmo Vuori has extensive experience in the software and technology industry. Kimmo started their career at Saraware Oy in 1998, where they worked as a Software Engineer in various roles, including GSM Base Station Controller, Tetra System, and Actionet System. In 2006, they moved to Wipro Technologies Finland as a Software Engineer in GSM Base Station Controller. After three years, they joined Laihia Data Oy in 2014 as a Software Designer. In 2015, Kimmo joined Citec Group as an Expert in Industrial Internet, where they focused on integrating digitalization and IoT into PLM, architecture of Industrial Internet technology, and evaluating technology partners. In 2018, they joined Etteplan as a Senior Design Engineer in Electrics & Automation, where they worked until moving to Ambientia in 2023 as a Senior Software Developer.

Kimmo Vuori's education history begins in 1990 when they attended Etelä-Pohjanmaan Ammattioppilaitos, where they obtained a degree as a Tietotekniikan mekaanikko (Mechanic) with a focus on electronic design. From 1993 to 1997, they attended Vaasan teknillinen oppilaitos and earned a degree as a Tietotekniikan insinööri (Engineer of Information Technology) specializing in software and electronic engineering.

In 2009, they pursued further education at the Open University of Vaasa, studying Kauppatieteiden tutkintoon johtavia opintoja (Business studies) for a year. Kimmo then continued their studies at the University of Vaasa from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Kauppatieteiden kandidaatti (B.Sc. in Economics) in Management and organizations and Business law. Kimmo pursued their Master's degree in Strategic management and Business law from the same university and successfully completed it in 2014, earning a title of Kauppatieteiden maisteri (M.Sc. in Economics).

Additionally, in 2022, Kimmo obtained certifications in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Microsoft Azure IoT Developer (AZ-220) from Microsoft.
