Rafael Pinto Sperafico has a strong background in software development, support, and IT. Rafael started their career in 2002 as a (Junior) Web Developer & Web Designer at Université de Sherbrooke. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as an IT Support Technician at The New Laptop Shop. Rafael then joined The PC Clinics as an IT Support Technician from 2009 to 2011. In 2010, they became a Senior Web Developer at VenueOne until 2012. Rafael then worked as a Senior Web Application Developer at EazySafe from 2012 to 2013. At e-Core, they held the role of Atlassian Support Engineer from 2013 to 2016 and later became an Atlassian Premier Support Engineer from 2016 to 2018. Since 2018, Rafael has been a part of Ambientia, where they started as an Application Lifecycle Management Expert, specializing in consulting and maintaining Atlassian products. Rafael then transitioned to the role of Application Specialist and currently holds the position of Senior Software Developer.

Rafael Pinto Sperafico started their education in 2000 at Unisinos, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Rafael completed this degree in 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they continued their education at Unisinos and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Game and Interactive Media Design.

In addition to their degrees, Rafael has obtained several certifications. In December 2007, they acquired certifications in Autodesk Maya 6, C/C++ Development, Java Development, and Python Development from UNISINOS - Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos. Rafael also obtained a certification in LIBRAS (Brazilian Sign Language) from Colegio Concordia in December 2007. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Web Development and e-Commerce from Alphamidia in May 2002.

Lastly, they obtained a certification in Cambridge English (FCE) from ISI - English Language School in April 2010.
