Dennis Sylvester

Dennis Sylvester has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious institutions and companies. Dennis began their career as a Graduate student at UC-Berkeley in 1995 and later joined Hewlett-Packard Laboratories as a TCAD Engineer in 1996. In 1999, Dennis moved on to Synopsys, where they worked as a Sr. R&D Engineer until the year 2000. Dennis then joined the University of Michigan as a Professor in August 2000, where they still hold a position. In 2006, Dennis was a Visiting Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore for a period of nine months. In 2010, they founded Ambiq Micro and has been actively involved since then. Additionally, Dennis took on the role of Visiting Professor at Nanyang Technological University from August 2013 to August 2014. Overall, they have a strong background in academia and industry, with expertise in engineering and research.

Dennis Sylvester pursued their higher education in the field of Electrical Engineering. Dennis first attended the University of Michigan from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree. Following their undergraduate studies, Sylvester then enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1995 to 1999. It was in Berkeley where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, specializing in Electrical Engineering.
