Shawn Daniels

Shawn Daniels has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked as a Learning and Development Lead at Ambitious about Autism, where they created a training program and implemented coaching and mentoring initiatives for staff. Before that, they served as an Educator at Hillview School for Girls, teaching Science, Biology, and Psychology to students and supporting their wellbeing. As a Project Manager at AD Centre, Shawn directed marine projects focused on children and communities, achieving high success rates and reducing criminal activity. Shawn also worked as a Learning and Development Manager at ARS Educational Psychologist, leading training programs and conducting assessments for educators. Additionally, Shawn has experience as a Head of Department at Tafelsig High School, an Educator at Academy Private School and MADAR International School, a Counsellor and Psychology Tutor at Stellenbosch University, and a Retail Sales Manager at Kids Emporium. Throughout their career, Shawn has demonstrated a strong commitment to education, development, and community impact.

Shawn Daniels has a diverse education history. Shawn started their academic journey in 2010 at Stellenbosch University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Life Science in 2015. In 2015, they pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the same institution. Building on their educational foundation, Shawn obtained a Bachelor of Education degree with Honours in Educational Psychology in 2016. Their commitment to furthering their knowledge led him to complete a Master of Education in Psych, specializing in Educational Psychology, from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, Shawn has acquired additional certifications such as the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation & Practitioner from Knowledge Train in 2022 and became a registered counselor with the Health Professional Council of South Africa in 2017.
