Jonny Hayes

Jonny Hayes has extensive experience in education and the creative arts. Currently serving as the High School English Head of Department and an Intermediate Phase Teacher at Ambleside School since July 2020, Jonny also works as a songwriter and musician. Previously, Jonny held the position of Digital Consultant at CrackerJack and worked as a Surfing Instructor at Cape Town Surfing Adventures, where coaching encompassed both individual and group lessons. Educational qualifications include a PGCE from the University of Cape Town with Distinction, alongside various short courses from Harvard University and Copenhagen Business School. Jonny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, English, and History from the University of Cape Town and completed secondary education at the Ambleside School of Hout Bay.
