Brian Donghee Shin

Brian Donghee Shin has over six years of experience in software engineering. Brian Donghee began their career in 2014 as a Software Engineer Intern (iOS) at Facebook. In 2015, they joined Facebook as a Senior Software Engineer (Android) and led a team of five engineers in creating two new modes in Facebook Camera. Brian Donghee also migrated Instant Articles onto a server driven UI framework across iOS and Android, decreasing iteration time on new product development from three weeks to a few hours. Brian Donghee then moved on to Butterfly Network, Inc. in 2019 as a Senior Android Engineer where they tech led an AI-based patient self scanning team and developed an integration test framework and go-to-market strategy for Android device support. Currently, Brian is a Software Engineer at Ambrook where they launched iOS and Android financial management apps using React Native as the primary mobile developer. Brian Donghee also proposed and executed multiple large framework migrations.

Brian Donghee Shin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in 2015. Brian Donghee also has a Triplebyte Android Certification from Triplebyte, which they obtained in February 2019.
