Johnathan Maher, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of Medical Affairs, starting from being a Contract Scientific Advisor at Institute for Medical Education & Research, Inc. in 2005 to their current role as VP, Head of Medical Affairs at Ambrx since 2023. Along the way, they have held various leadership positions at reputable companies such as Arcus Biosciences, AbbVie, and Amgen, focusing on oncology and clinical affairs.

Johnathan Maher, PhD, earned a BS in Food Science from Virginia Tech and a PhD in Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
