Thomas Frederik Schmidt

Thomas Frederik Schmidt has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Thomas Frederik started their career at PwC as a Senior Accountant from 1995 to 1998. Thomas Frederik then joined Roche, where they held various positions including Business Controller & Logistics Manager, Area Director in Corporate Finance - Asia Pacific, Operations Director, Senior Vice President Finance of Roche Professional Diagnostics, and Vice President Finance of Sub-Region RE12, Region Europe. Their responsibilities included financial performance management, strategy development, and people development. In 2016, they became the Chief Financial Officer of Roche Pharma AG, Germany, and later the Managing Director of Roche Pharma Switzerland Ltd in 2020. In 2022, Thomas joined Ambu A/S as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In 2024, they became a Global Executive, serving as the Chief Financial Officer and CEO.

Thomas Frederik Schmidt completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School from 1989 to 1992. Thomas Frederik then pursued a Master's degree in Business Economics & Auditing at the same institution from 1992 to 1997.
