Matthew Metcalf

Matthew Metcalf is an experienced paramedic and educator currently serving as a Communications Support Paramedic at Ambulance Victoria since April 2018, where roles include Senior Reserve Paramedic and Clinical Instructor. Matthew's responsibilities encompass providing advanced life support, emergency management planning, and training colleagues in paramedicine. In addition to this, contributions to COVID-19 response efforts include various leadership roles within the COVID Incident Management Team. Matthew also holds sessional instructor positions at Australian Catholic University and Monash University, with previous experience as an Advanced Medic and Trainer at Colbrow Medics and in safety and emergency response roles at Aditya Birla Group. Matthew holds multiple degrees in Paramedicine, culminating in a Bachelor of Paramedicine (Honours) from Monash University.
