Alex Virisheff

Alex Virisheff is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in resource evaluation, exploration, and mining. Currently serving as Principal Geologist at AMC Consultants since January 2013, Alex focuses on resource evaluation and due diligence. Prior to this role, Alex held positions as Principal Consultant at Coffey Mining and RSG Global Consultants, and worked at Newcrest Mining as a Technical Systems Administrator. Early career experiences include roles as a pit geologist at Mt Newman Mining Pty Ltd and as an exploration geologist at Minsands Exploration Pty Ltd. Alex holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from The University of Queensland, earned between 1971 and 1974.
