Chris Harman

Chris Harman is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in various roles within the mining and exploration sectors. Currently serving as Principal Geologist at AMC Consultants since July 2023, Chris previously held numerous senior positions at Rio Tinto from 2011 to 2023, including Principal Geoscientist and a pivotal role in resource assessment and project evaluation. Chris has demonstrated expertise in geological modeling, resource estimation, stakeholder management, and training within technical evaluation teams. Earlier career experiences include senior roles at Blue Energy LTD, Golder Associates, and several other companies, contributing to comprehensive knowledge across commodities like coal, lithium, and uranium. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Newcastle.
