Jenny Yao

Jenny Yao is a skilled public relations and digital marketing professional currently serving as a PR and Digital Marketing Associate at the American Chamber of Commerce in China since November 2023. Previously, Jenny worked at Allison+Partners as an Account Coordinator, where responsibilities included writing press materials, coordinating media relations, and supporting event logistics for notable clients like Kyndryl and General Electric. Experience also includes serving as a Student Ambassador for UF PRSSA, where Jenny promoted events on social media and engaged in recruitment efforts. An internship at Weber Shandwick involved conducting PR research for Oppo mobile, while an earlier internship at Harvard Business Review China focused on editing and translation. Jenny holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Florida and a BA (Honours) in Journalism Media and Culture from Newcastle University.
