Douglas Porter

Douglas Porter is a retired professional with extensive experience in health and safety education. Serving as a Lecturer in Health and Safety at West College Scotland since August 1982, Douglas Porter developed and delivered tailored courses across various levels and acted as the NEBOSH Programme Organiser. In addition to this role, Douglas Porter contributed to quality enhancement as a lecturer from December 2014 until retirement in September 2022. Douglas Porter holds a Master’s degree in Safety and Environmental Management from the University of the West of Scotland, completed between 1997 and 2007, and has an educational background from Stanley Green High School, attended from 1969 to 1972.
