Ruben Melara

Ruben Melara serves as the Business Group President for Flexibles Latin America at Amcor, having held various leadership roles within the company since joining in October 2009, including Vice-President Sales & Marketing and General Manager for both Flexibles and Rigid Packaging divisions in Brazil, Central America, and the Caribbean. Prior experience includes the position of Country Manager for El Salvador at Kimberly-Clark from March 2004 to September 2009 and Sales & Distribution Director at Industrias La Constancia SAB Miller from June 1992 to February 2004. Ruben Melara's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Diploma in Building and Leading Customer Centric Organizations from Harvard Business School, and an MBA from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, among other diplomas in management and marketing.
