Jonathan Buchanan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mineral exploration and development sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Association for Mineral Exploration since March 2005. Jonathan has held various roles within the organization, including Vice President of Policy and Advocacy, where advocacy for supportive policies and legislation in British Columbia is a primary focus. Prior experience includes positions at ACC Intercultural Institute and Centre de Langues Internationales Charpentier as an ESL instructor, as well as a Principal at JJB Productions, where Jonathan contributed to significant communications efforts in the Elliot Lake business community. Jonathan holds a B.A. in Geography from The University of British Columbia and is a graduate of Trinity College School.
