Emiliano Guevara

Emiliano Guevara serves as a Senior Data Scientist and Computational Linguist at Amedia AS since April 2018, focusing on NLP research, from data collection to production deployment, particularly in modeling the semantics of newspaper articles for various applications including document classification and user segmentation. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at Acando Norge, where Emiliano worked on machine learning and NLP initiatives, and a position at M-Brain Group, which involved backend to frontend development in scientific programming and interactive data visualization. Earlier career highlights feature contributions as a Data Scientist at Opoint Norge, a PhD Candidate at the University of Oslo specializing in Distributional Semantics, and various academic roles at the University of Bologna.
