Dana Traxler

Area Vice President Operations/clinical PNW Region at Amedisys

Dana Traxler has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Dana started their career as a Registered Nurse at Bucyrus Community Hospital, where they managed and supported care for ICU patients. Dana then joined HomeCare Matters HomeHealth and Hospice as a Clinical Manager, overseeing nursing and aide staff while coordinating referrals for local hospitals and long-term care facilities. Traxler later joined Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio, where they held various leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director. In these roles, they provided oversight and guided the development and management of business relations. Dana also built strategic partnerships with community agencies and referral sources and developed strategic business plans for the organization's growth. Traxler then transitioned to Mercy Regional Medical Center as the Director of HomeCare Clinical Services. Currently, they are working at Amedisys as the Area Vice President of Operations/Clinical PNW Region and has previously served as the Area Vice President of Clinical for the West Region.

Dana Traxler attended Mt. Vernon Nazarene University from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a BBA degree in Business. Later, they attended Marion Technical College, although the specific start and end dates are not provided. Dana obtained an Associate Degree in Registered Nursing from there.
