Melissa Findley

Melissa Findley has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Melissa began their career as a PACU RN at UAB Medical West from 2006 to 2008. Melissa then joined Gentiva Health Services, where they worked as a Manager of Clinical Practice/Quality Assurance Nurse from 2008 to 2013. In this role, they conducted quality assurance audits, managed a team of field clinicians, and coordinated performance improvement activities. Melissa also worked as a case manager in the field for one year. From 2012 to 2016, Melissa worked at Woodrow Healthcare Consulting, LLC as a Quality Assurance Project Manager, where they managed a team of RN peers, performed quality reviews, and provided training on EMR. Currently, they hold a position at Amedisys as the Director of Quality since 2023 and previously worked as the Oasis and Coding Team Lead from 2019 to 2023 and as an Oasis and Coding Specialist from 2016 to 2019.

Melissa Findley obtained an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Bevill State Community College between 1999 and 2002. Melissa also holds additional certifications, including HCS-D from the Board of Medical Speciality, obtained in October 2015, and COS-C from Oasis Answers, obtained in June 2014.
