Vanessa Fontenot Lastrapes

Vanessa Fontenot Lastrapes is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Amedisys since June 2022, Vanessa has previously held senior management roles at Dollar General, including Senior Human Resources Manager and District Manager. With a significant tenure at Target from 2007 to 2019, Vanessa advanced through various leadership positions, including Store Director and Human Resources Business Partner. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Louisiana State University, earned between 2002 and 2006.
