Joost Kremers

Joost Kremers is an experienced professional in linguistics and artificial intelligence, currently serving as an Intent Recognition Designer at IPsoft since April 2022. Prior roles include Conversational AI Developer at CGI Nederland and Python Developer at Permento. Joost's academic career features positions as a researcher and lecturer at various institutions including Bielefeld University, Bergische Universität Wuppertal, and the University of Göttingen, where contributions ranged from linguistic research to teaching Natural Language Processing. Joost has authored a postdoctoral thesis titled "Prosodic Syntax" and has expertise in Python tools such as numpy, pandas, and matplotlib. Additional experience includes consulting for Lionbridge Technologies on syntactic parser development for Dutch and involvement in multiple research projects at Goethe University and the University of Cologne.
