James Scogin

James Scogin is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in enterprise accounting, compliance, and internal audit. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Enterprise Accounting, Compliance & Asst. Controller at Amentum since December 2020, James previously held key leadership roles at DynCorp International, where responsibilities included Director of Enterprise Accounting & Compliance and Director of Internal Audit from May 2007 to May 2020. Prior experience also includes consulting on SOX Compliance at Joseph Brooks & Associates, serving as Controller at UNIREZ, and various controller positions in publicly traded companies, including Data Race and 50-OFF Stores. James began a career in audit as a Manager at Deloitte from June 1985 to June 1992. James holds a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University, obtained between 1979 and 1983.
