Karl Spinnenweber

President, Critical Missions at amentum

Karl is an Executive Vice President and General Manager (VPGM) of Amentum’s Mission Readiness Group. Karl has profit and loss responsibility for a $1.9B global organization of 13,000 employees who provide clients with engineering, maintenance, and logistics solutions. Prior to Amentum, Karl led the Mission Readiness Group for AECOM, and also held executive positions at CSC, including VPGM Maritime, VPGM Army, VP Intelligence, and VP Strategic Business Development.

Karl obtained a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in May 2018. He earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Duke University’s Global Executive Program, where he was a Fuqua Scholar, received a Master of Science in Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Sciences from George Washington University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He obtained a U.S. Coast Guard Engineering License and served as a Naval Reserve Officer.
