Martin E. Garriga

Martin E. Garriga is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and credit review. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Amerant Bank since January 2011, Garriga leads the Credit Review within the Risk Management Organization. Prior to this role, Garriga worked at Mercantil Bank as Vice President Corporate Latin America Manager, managing a significant Latin American business portfolio, and as Vice President Corporate Compliance Liaison. Garriga’s career also includes a tenure at Citi, where responsibilities included overseeing financial institutions and generating substantial revenues. Early in the career, Garriga served as a Credit Analyst at Santander Investment Securities Inc. Educated at UCAB with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and having completed a Business Skills Program at Northeastern University, Garriga's expertise spans across various financial sectors and regions.
