Kara Umphress

Kara Umphress has a diverse work experience history. Kara started their career in 2010 as a Business Analyst at DB&A - DeWolff, Boberg & Associates, Inc, where they focused on empowering managers and driving financial and operational improvements for various industries. Kara then worked as a Business Partner Liaison (Human Resource Services) at Kelly Scientific Resources, where they provided temporary staffing, outsourcing, and full-time placement services.

In 2016, Kara joined Flagship Credit Acceptance as a Human Resources Generalist / Human Resources Business Partner. Flagship is an independent automobile finance company that specializes in purchasing retail installment contracts from automobile dealerships across the United States. Kara played a key role in developing pricing and structures to support a wide range of customer situations and needs.

Currently, Kara is working as a Human Resources Manager at AmerCareRoyal, a leading organization in the foodservice, jan san, medical, retail, safety, and hospitality industries. Kara is responsible for managing the human resources functions and contributing to the company's growth through strong sales, service, merchandising, and marketing efforts.

Kara Umphress has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources studying from WGU Texas. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in PHR (Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration) from the University of North Texas. Kara completed their high school education at Newman Smith High School. In addition to their educational background, Kara has obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification in Human Resources from the Aveta Business Institute in December 2020.
