Luke Wollin has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Luke started their career as a Transmission Substation Design Engineer at Ameren in 2003 and worked in this role until 2011. Luke then transitioned into the role of Project Manager, where they managed large-scale EHV transmission projects. In 2013, they became the Manager of Project Management for Transmission. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Director of Transmission Design Engineering, leading a team responsible for the estimation and design of capital projects. In 2020, they became the Senior Director of Transmission Operations and Maintenance, overseeing the operations and maintenance of Ameren's transmission system. Currently, Luke is the Vice President of Transmission Engineering and Construction, leading a large organization responsible for the engineering design and project execution of all transmission capital projects at Ameren. Prior to their time at Ameren, Luke worked as a Project Engineer at Sachs Electric Company for two years.
Luke Wollin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Washington University in St. Louis, which they completed in 2008. Luke has also obtained additional certifications, including the System Operator - Reliability Coordinator certification from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) in 2019, the Project Management Professional certification from the PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter in 2011, and the Professional Engineer certifications in Illinois and Missouri in 2009 and 2007, respectively.
