Samira Alhassan

Samira Alhassan has a solid background in the fashion industry, with experience in various roles. Samira most recently worked at Amerex Group as an Assistant Fashion Designer, where they assisted in developing new styles, sourcing fabrics and trims, and handling overseas requests. Prior to that, they worked at Oscar de la Renta as a Fashion Designer and Fashion Design Intern. In these roles, they supported the design team in digital work, sourcing trims, communicating with factories, and participating in conceptual development. Samira also gained experience as a Fashion Design Intern at Badgley Mischka, where they focused on garment draping, trims sourcing, and sketching. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Tailor at Earns African Boutique, where they excelled in alterations, hand sewing, garment design, and customization.

Samira Alhassan pursued their Bachelor's degree from 2015 to 2019 at Moore College of Art and Design. Samira specialized in the field of Fashion/Apparel Design during their time at the college.
