Richard Lawson

Richard Lawson is currently serving as a Senior Litigator at America First Policy Institute and is the Executive Director of the Constitutional Litigation Partnership. Previously, Richard held positions as Partner at Gardner Brewer Hudson, P.A. and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. He has a background working in various legal roles, including Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx District Attorney's Office and Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorney's Office in Tampa, Florida. Richard also has experience as a Special Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office in the Southern District of New York. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law.
