Robert de Koning

Robert de Koning is an experienced entrepreneur and writer with a diverse background in publishing and communications. Currently, Robert serves as the founder of The 50 Shades of States on Substack and holds writer positions at Nordic Magazine, America Magazine, and EAST Down Under Magazine. Additionally, Robert co-founded What Thinks Fritz, a newsletter exploring various creative topics. Robert's entrepreneurial journey includes involvement with travel start-up Favoroute and the development of IDHD, a project that has matured into a business. Previous roles include interim PR and communication management for various organizations. Robert holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
