Erica Kennedy, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Professionalism at the American Academy of Actuaries since December 1999, overseeing the Actuarial Standards Board's operations, strategic planning, and external communications. With a diverse background, Erica has held roles including Assistant Director of Professionalism and Program Manager at the Academy, where responsibilities included managing actuarial standards and coordinating written materials. Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism and Psychology from Howard University, a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from Seton Hill University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.
