Ryan Collar MD, MBA is an experienced physician and administrator specializing in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Currently serving as the Fellowship Director at the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Ryan Collar has established one of the few accredited fellowship programs in the US and Canada. In addition to this role, Ryan Collar holds multiple leadership positions at UC Health, including Chief of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Vice Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. As a founding partner of Removery, Ryan Collar contributes to advancing tattoo change services, previously serving as Chief Strategy Officer for Invisible Ink Tattoo Removers before its rebranding. Academic roles include Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, with involvement in national clinical committees at the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Ryan Collar’s education includes an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and a BA from the College of the Holy Cross, where Ryan Collar graduated as valedictorian.

The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is the largest organization in the world representing medical residents, fellows, and board-certified facial and reconstructive surgeons who specialize in the plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head, and neck. The majority of AAFPRS members and fellows are certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, which includes examination in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures, and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. With more than 2,000 members, the Academy is the world’s largest international association of facial plastic surgeons and the only organization dedicated solely to the advancement of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
