Allysha Winburn

Allysha Winburn is an Associate Professor at the University of West Florida, specializing in Forensic Anthropology, Human Osteology, Primatology, and Ritual Use of Human Remains. With extensive experience in academia and forensic science, Allysha has held multiple roles, including Fellow at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and Lecturer in Anthropology at the University of New Hampshire. Previous positions include Quality Assurance Coordinator and Senior Forensic Anthropology Analyst at the University of Florida, and Forensic Anthropologist at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. Allysha holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Florida, an MA from New York University, and a BA in Archaeological Studies from Yale University.
