Ashley Shew

Ashley Shew is currently the State Policy Director at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, where they direct state legislative and regulatory campaigns to advocate for Nurse Practitioners and their patients. Prior to this role, Ashley held positions at various organizations such as The University of Texas System, Power to Decide, and UCLA Health, focusing on public policy, advocacy, and research. Ashley holds a Master of Public Administration degree from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, a Master of Arts degree from Claremont Graduate University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
