Joyce Batcheller

Joyce Batcheller is a highly experienced nurse executive and educator, currently serving as a Nurse Executive Advisor at The Center for the Advancement of Healthcare Professionals since 2016, where Joyce leads the development of a CNO Academy and mentors new nursing executives. Concurrently, Joyce operates as a Consultant and Educator with ANA NKC since 2013, assisting hospitals in achieving Magnet® and Pathway to Excellence® designations, and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing, co-teaching courses in systems leadership and population health policy. Notably, Joyce is a Fellow at the American Academy of Nursing and previously held the role of President at CNO Solutions from 2013 to 2015. Joyce's extensive background includes serving as Senior Vice President/System Chief Nursing Officer for Seton Healthcare Family, overseeing operations for over 3,800 nurses across a large healthcare system in Texas. Educated at institutions including Texas Tech and The University of Texas, Joyce holds multiple advanced degrees in nursing administration and practice, culminating in a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Ph.D. in Nursing Systems.
