Victoria Tiase

Victoria Tiase is an accomplished academic and healthcare professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah since June 2022. With extensive experience, Victoria Tiase has held various leadership roles at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, including Director of Research Science and Director of Informatics Strategy, from September 1995 to June 2022. Victoria Tiase is also a Fellow at the American Academy of Nursing since 2020 and previously held an Assistant Professor position at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences from July 2019 to July 2023. In addition to academia, Victoria Tiase has engaged in coaching triathlon and running, demonstrating a commitment to physical fitness and community involvement. Victoria Tiase’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Spanish from the University of Virginia, a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from Columbia University, and a PhD in Nursing Informatics from the University of Utah.
