Jacqueline Chua holds a PhD in Optometry from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Optometry from the University of Melbourne. Currently serving as a Principal Investigator at the Singapore Eye Research Institute since March 2013, Jacqueline Chua leads the Ocular Imaging Group and has a background in primary eye care as an optometrist. Additionally, Jacqueline Chua is an Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, recognized in the clinical category for expertise in the art and science of optometry. Previously, Jacqueline Chua lectured in optometry at Singapore Polytechnic from June 2009 to December 2012.
