Jeffrey Sonsino

Jeffrey Sonsino is an accomplished optometrist with extensive experience in clinical care, research, and professional leadership. Currently serving as the Past Chairman of the Contact Lens and Cornea Section at the American Optometric Association and as a Diplomate in Cornea, Contact Lens, and Refractive Technologies with the American Academy of Optometry, Jeffrey has achieved the highest clinical designation in the field. As the Chief Medical Officer at myEyeris, Inc., Jeffrey focuses on enhancing the doctor/patient relationship in eye care. Previous roles include Optometrist at Optique Eyecare and Eyewear, founding board member of the Healthcare Alliance for Patient Safety, and Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Jeffrey holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry and completed a residency in Cornea and Contact Lens at The Illinois College of Optometry.
