Srihari Narayanan is a distinguished Professor and Director of Cornea and Dry Eye Service and Adult Care at the University of the Incarnate Word, holding the position since October 2011. With significant expertise in online teaching and testing methods, Srihari specializes in clinical skills, anterior segment disease, and neuro-ophthalmic disorders. Clinical interests include dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction, uveitis, anterior segment disease, primary eye care, and contact lenses. Srihari has also served as a fellow at the American Academy of Optometry since 1999 and held the role of Associate Professor at Pennsylvania College of Optometry from 2007 to 2011, focusing on diseases of the anterior segment, ocular immunology, and problem-based learning. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Optometry (OD) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physiological Optics and Vision Science from the University of Houston, as well as a Bachelor of Optometry from the Elite School of Optometry.
