Linda Parsons has extensive experience in accounting and community service, currently serving as a board member and director focusing on membership with the American Accounting Association, as well as the Joe Lane Endowed Professor at the University of Alabama's Culverhouse School of Accountancy. Linda has been actively involved in the Forest Lake Neighborhood Association since 2009, holding roles as president and secretary to enhance community quality of life. Linda's dedication to community improvement is further evidenced through board membership with Tuscaloosa Neighbors Together and previous leadership roles, including treasurer and president. Additional contributions include serving on various committees such as the Audit Committee with United Way Worldwide and the Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee with the Financial Accounting Standards Board. Linda holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Houston and a BS in Accounting from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
