Nate Ernst

Nate is a leader in business operations. With a family history in aviation, an educational background in corporate finance, and an aptitude for industry disruption; Nate has been involved in the aviation (both manned and unmanned) since 2011. A successful entrepreneur who has started multiple businesses in his young career, Nate founded Sky Scape Industries in 2014 and later joined the American Aerospace team in 2019.

Nate has logged thousands of sUAS flights, served as mission commander on multiple large UAS missions, and continues to oversea manned (helicopter and fixed-wing) flight operations. He excels in fast-paced/complex environments where team work and collaboration are crucial to success. A leader in the aviation industry, Nate sits on multiple advisory boards for industry and continues to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for applied remote sensing applications involving airborne aircraft. Nate graduated from Monmouth University (BS-12’, MBA-14’).
