Don Close

Don Close is a Marketing Analyst at American AgCredit since April 2022, bringing extensive experience in the agricultural finance sector. Previously, Don held the position of SVP Food and Ag Research, Animal Protein at Rabo AgriFinance from March 2012 to June 2022. Don served as the Director of Marketing at the Texas Cattle Feeders Association from March 2008 to February 2012 and also as Director of Risk Management at Future Beef Operations between 2000 and 2003. Don's career began at Pioneer Hi-Bred International, where roles included Manager of Marketing Services from 1988 to 2000. Don earned a Bachelor's degree in Ag Business and Economics from West Texas A&M University, completing studies between 2006 and 2008.
