Erik Anderson is currently serving as an A320 First Officer at American Airlines since September 2025, having previously held the same position at Frontier Airlines from October 2023 to September 2025. Erik also serves in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve as an MH-65E Flight Examiner, Instructor Pilot, and Aircraft Commander since July 2022. Prior to this, Erik was a C-208B Captain for Mokulele Airlines from May 2022 to April 2023 and held various roles in the U.S. Coast Guard from August 2008 to July 2022, including H-65 Platform Engineering Officer and Aircraft Commander. Erik’s earlier experience includes project engineering at BAE Systems and serving as a Reserve Officer in the US Navy. Erik holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics with a focus on Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
